Brands are insistent on disrupting the way we shop. These industry shake-ups are creating greater benefits for both the consumers and the brands. Born in Brooklyn, GREATS brand sneakers offer classically designed fashion sneakers for men with luxury materials starting at a lower price point than you'd expect. Under the helm of Jon Buscemi (formerly of DC Shoes and Gourmet Footwear) and Ryan Babenzien (formerly of K-Swiss and Puma), GREATS is selling directly to the consumer, and redefining the price to quality equation in footwear.
"We’ll do a Made In Italy series that will be around $180, but if you were buying that shoe at Barney’s it would be $500 or more. The consumers win here." ~ Ryab Babenzien, GREATS, from interview with Forbes, Building The Next Great Footwear Company
The founders knew that the wholesale business of selling fashion sneakers to 3rd party retailers was inefficient and that inefficiency was eventually paid for by the customer, in the form of higher prices. And with the idea of building a better sneaker for less, GREATS was launched in August 2013 and quickly became an instant "Classic" selling out of most styles within 90 days. GQ says "Shaking up the sneaker to store inventory flow" and as FORBES says "Greats is building the next Great footwear company."
Greats is passionate about building the best footwear in the game at the best price. We think they're off to a strong start. They definitely captured out attention with the following fashion sneakers for men. SHARE THIS PAGE
